Mykonos, Santorini & Crete: Greek Isles

    Day 1:

    Welcome to Mykonos, the jet set island of Greece and the world! Upon arrival, you will be met by your driver and taken to your hotel. Enjoy the fabulous beaches and the beach bars on the world famous beaches of Paradise, Super Paradise, Platys Gialos, Agios Ioannis, Elia and many more.  Visit  the town of Mykonos, one of the most photographed towns in the world. Encircling a small port, the town of Mykonos is absolutely charming. Stroll through the winding streets which take you deep into the town and are lined with white buildings, cafes and shops. Don’t forget to look for Petro the Pelican strolling by the port. HOTEL HINT: In Mykonos, you should decide if you would like to stay at a hotel in town or walking distance from town or at a hotel by one of the beaches of Mykonos.

    Day 2 & 3:

    Enjoy your days at leisure to explore Mykonos. There are optional tours to enjoy  while on the island. Take a cruise with stops for a swim along the southern coast of Mykonos’ famous beaches, enjoy a jeep safari through the island or visit Delos, the archeological wonder island. 

    Day 4:

    After breakfast, transfer to the pier for your hydrofoil (approximately 2 hours) to Santorini. Welcome to Santorini. Upon arrival, you will be welcomed by your driver and taken to your hotel. Welcome to Santorini! Enjoy your first stunning and unforgettable sunset! HOTEL HINT: Santorini is known for its boutique Cliffside properties! The Cliffsides are small and traditional  properties built directly into the Cliffside. More important than the location of the property, is to find the one you like the best. You will not be staying in the same town of the hotel each night but visiting the many towns of Santorini - Oia, Fira, Pyrgos, Amoudi, Immerovigli and many of the others. You can enjoy beautiful sunsets from most of these towns!

    Day 5 & 6:

    Enjoy your days at leisure to explore Santorini. There are great optional tours to enjoy  during your stay on the island. Enjoy a wine tasting tour of the famous Santorini wines, visit Akrotiri, a town buried by lava after the volcano exploded and enjoy a lunch or dinner cruise around Santorini with stops at secluded bays for a swim or snorkeling as well as sailing and swimming through the famous volcano crater of Santorini. Most important, enjoy the incredible sunsets each evening to create memories of a lifetime.

    Day 7:

    After breakfast, transfer to the pier for your hydrofoil (approximately 2 hours) to Crete. Welcome to Crete! Upon arrival, pick up your car and drive to your hotel. The largest island of Greece, Crete is very different from Mykonos and Santorini. Crete is mountainous and green and hugged by the aqua blue sea! On the western side of the island, is the traditional and charming town of Chania. Automobiles are not allowed in the historic area of the town. The Samaria Gorge, the largest gorge of Europe is also located there giving the opportunity to nature lovers to enjoy a hike or a walk.  Exploring the beaches and the traditional villages nearby are among the activities that can be enjoyed. In Heraklion, the middle of the island, is the major archeological site of Knossos Palace and the Heraklion Museum. On the eastern side of the island is the well-known and exclusive resort town of Elounda. In addition, the quaint port town of Agios Nicolaos is close by. Visit Spinalonga, a leper’s colony in the past. Not far is the Dikteon Cave Zeus’s mother left him so he would not be killed by his father. There are also wine tours and an organic farm where one can experience the making of wine and olive oil.

    Day 8 & 9:

    Enjoy your days at leisure to explore Crete. There are optional tours to enjoy while on the island.

    Day 10:

    After breakfast, drive to the airport and return your car in time for your flight to Athens to connect to your international flight.
