Morning tour of Athens including the Acropolis and its Museum. Afternoon at leisure to visit the National Archeological Museum and to stroll through the Plaka area where buildings have been restored to their original splendor.Day 4: Athens / Lavrion (Friday)
Transfer to the port for your cruise. Sail at 9:00 p.m.Day 5: Santorini (Saturday)
Arrive Santorini at 7:00 a.m. Santorini is the diamond of all the islands. You will marvel at the breath-taking views and the clean, pure, Cycladic air as you head towards the north of the island. You will pass through Fira, the small traditional villages of Firostefani and Imerovigli with delicate architecture and beauties, to eventually arrive at the settlement of Oia. During the entire route, to the west you will have before your eyes the lace-like caldera, the little islands of Thirasia, Palea and Nea Kameni and an unsurpassable panoramic view. In Oia you will have plenty of time to stroll through the marble-paved alleys, to gaze at the adorable shops, to take pictures, to become acquainted with the characteristic buildings, carved into the rocks and the unusual captains’ manors, and the settlement Ammoudi at the foot of the caldera. Sail at 6:30 p.m.Day 6: Izmir (Ephesus), Turkey (Sunday)
Arrive in Izmir, Turkey at 8:30 a.m. Your shore excursion is to Ancient Ephesus where you will find immortal relics of the Hellenistic, Roman and Early Christian era. At the archaeological site, walk among the Agora, the Odeon, the Library of Celsus, the marble-paved main street of Kouretes, the Baths of Scholastica, Trajan's Fountain, the Public Latrines, the Residences of the Patricians, the Prytaneum and Temple of Hadrian. See the Great Theatre, built in the 4th century. Your excursion ends at the Covered Bazaar of Kusadasi where you can bargain for souvenirs such as jewelry and leather products. Sail at 3:00 p.m.Day 7: Nafplion (Monday)
Arrive Nafplion 9:00 a.m. Optional excursions include wine-tasting in Nemea, the Ancient Theatre of Epidaurus & Nafplion and Ancient Mycenae & Epidarus & Nafplion. Sail at 9:00 p.m.Day 8: Crete (Chania), Greece (Tuesday)
Arrive at 8:00 a.m. Your shore excursion takes you along the coastal highway to Crete's only freshwater lake, Kournas Lake. Enjoy a stroll around the lake where you can shop for locally made pottery and hand crafts. The scenery is relaxing and beautiful. Continue to Rethymnon, a lovely Venetian port famous for its Medieval architecture. After touring Rethymnon, visit a local olive oil producer to learn about the process of producing olive oil. Then enjoy a traditional Cretan folklore dancing performance together with a shot of Raki and create memories of the Cretan life! Sail at 6:00 p.m.Day 9: Rhodes (Wednesday)
Arrive in Rhodes, Greece at 8:00 a.m. The beauty of Rhodes beckons you as you enter the port. Your shore excursion takes you to Lindos to see the Acropolis of Lindos with the ancient Temple of Athena, built in 300 B.C. of the Doric order. In Lindos you will see the Church of the Virgin Mary (Panagia) with frescoes from the 15th Century. Return to the old city of Rhodes and walk through D'Amboise Gate to walk on the Street of the Knights. Along this street are the residences of the Knights, separated according to Order, which bear their corresponding crests. Sail at 5:00 p.m.Day 10: Cesme, Turkey/Mykonos, Greece (Thursday)
Arrive in Cesme at 7:00 a.m. Optional excursions are available such as a visit to Sole Mare Beach Club for a day of sun and relaxation or a visit to Alacati, a beautiful town famous for its architecture, vineyards and kitesurfing. Sail at 1:30 p.m. Arrive in Mykonos at 7:00 p.m. Wander through the famous narrow streets lined with charming white-washed homes and shops. Mykonos is known as the island that never sleeps! Sail (Friday) at 3:00 a.m. OPTION: Disembarkation in Mykonos is permitted. Spend two or three glorious days in Mykonos after the cruise.Day 11: Lavrion (Friday)
