Istanbul Extension

This is an optional 4-day extension to add onto your trip.

Welcome to Istanbul! You will be met and privately transferred to your hotel. Afternoon at leisure. May we suggest a visit to Taksim Square, the pedestrian walk way in Istanbul? Near- by is the Pera historic area of Istanbul.

Istanbul’s blend of East and West has resulted in the most magnificent architecture in the world. Your full-day tour with lunch takes you to the old city’s masterpieces- the Blue Mosque, the Hippodrome, Agia Sophia and Topkapi Palace. The last stop is the Grand Bazaar where you can find your own treasures!

Day at leisure. There is so much to see and do. Visit the Church of the Holy Savior (Chora) to see beautiful Byzantine mosaics, take a cruise on the Bosphorus, see Dolmabahce Palace, the Greek Orthodox Patriarchate, the center of the world’s Orthodox Christians, with St. George Cathedral housing historic icons and a column of Christ’s flogging.
