    Day 1: Depart US for Athens (Monday)

    Depart US for Athens. Your overnight flight transports you to Athens.

    Day 2: Athens (Tuesday)

    Yassou! You will be privately transferred to your hotel. Afternoon at leisure.

    Day 3: Athens (Wednesday)

    A morning tour of Athens, including the Acropolis and its new Museum. Afternoon at leisure.

    Day 4: Athens / Mycenae / Olympia (Thursday)

    This morning begin your tour of classical Greece and see history begin to unfold! Today's highlights are Epidaurus, the ancient theater famous for its outstanding acoustics and Mycenae. Drive to Olympia for dinner & overnight.

    Day 5: Olympia / Delphi (Friday)

    Visit Olympia, birthplace of the Olympic Games. Included are the Temples of Zeus and Hera, the Altar of the Olympic flame, the Stadium and the museum. Depart for Delphi for dinner & overnight.

    Day 6: Delphi / Kalambaka (Saturday)

    Delphi was known in ancient times as the navel of the world. Visit the Temple of Apollo, the Athenian Treasury and the museum housing the famous bronze statue, the Charioteer. Drive to Kalambaka, a small town built at the foot of the majestic granite rocks crowned by the Meteora monasteries. Dinner & overnight.

    Day 7: Kalambaka / Athens (Sunday)

    This morning, visit the breathtaking Byzantine monasteries gracefully sitting on top of huge granite rocks. Return to Athens for overnight.

    Day 8: Athens / Piraeus / Mykonos (Monday)

    Transfer to the port of Piraeus. Sail at 11:30 a.m. Arrive in Mykonos at 6:00 p.m. Stroll through its narrow streets lined with white-washed houses and shops. Enjoy a drink in little Venice or by the waterfront. See why Mykonos never sleeps! Sail at 11:00 p.m.

    Day 9: Kusadasi / Ephesus / Patmos (Tuesday)

    Arrive in Kusadasi, Turkey at 7:00 a.m. Begin your shore excursion to the city of Ancient Ephesus, the Ionian colony, which is one of the largest open-air archaeological museums in the world. Traces of the Hellenistic, Roman and Early Christian period are scattered everywhere: the Agora, the Odeon, the Library of Celsus, the marble-paved main Street of the Kouretes, the Thermal Baths of Scholastica, Trajan’s Fountain, the Public Latrines, the Houses of the Patricians, the Prytaneum, Hadrian’s Temple, the Great Theatre. The excursion ends at the Covered Bazaar of Kusadasi with some free time for shopping and… bargaining! During the excursion you will have the opportunity to do some shopping for carpets, jewelry, leather and other souvenirs. Sail at 1:00 p.m. for Patmos. Arrive at 4:00 p.m. Optional tour to the Monastery of St. John and the nearby cave where the Apocalypse was written. Sail at 9:00 p.m.

    Day 10: Rhodes (Wednesday)

    Arrive in Rhodes, Greece at 7:00 a.m. The beauty of Rhodes beckons you as you enter the port. Your shore excursion takes you to Lindos to see the Acropolis of Lindos with the ancient Temple of Athena, built in 300 B.C. of the Doric order. In Lindos you will see the Church of the Virgin Mary (Panagia) with frescoes from the 15th Century. Return to the old city of Rhodes and walk through D'Amboise Gate to walk on the Street of the Knights. Along this street are the residences of the Knights, separated according to Order, which bear their corresponding crests. Sail at 6:00 p.m.

    Day 11: Heraklion / Santorini (Thursday)

    Arrive in Heraklion, Crete at 7:00 a.m. Optional tour to Knossos Palace, believed to be the mythical Labyrinth of King Minos and the Minotaur monster and the Heraklion Museum, housing many of the treasures found at Knossos. Sail at 11:30 a.m. for Santorini with arrival at 4:30 p.m. Santorini is the diamond of all the islands. You will marvel at the breath-taking views and the clean, pure, Cycladic air as you head towards the north of the island. You will pass through Fira, the small traditional villages of Firostefani and Imerovigli with delicate architecture and beauties, to eventually arrive at the settlement of Oia. During the entire route, to the west you will have before your eyes the lace-like caldera, the little islands of Thirasia, Palea and Nea Kameni and an unsurpassable panoramic view. In Oia you will have plenty of time to stroll through the marble-paved alleys, to gaze at the adorable shops, to take pictures, to become acquainted with the characteristic buildings, carved into the rocks and the unusual captains’ manors, and the settlement Ammoudi at the foot of the caldera. The sunset will leave a lasting memory. Sail at 9:30 p.m. OPTION: Disembarkation in Santorini is permitted. Spend two or three glorious days in Santorini after the cruise before flying home.

    Day 12: Lavrion / Athens / Home (Friday)

    Arive 6:00 a.m. Disembark. Upon disembarkation, private transfer to the Athens airport for your flight home.
