Arrival in Athens, Greece. Welcome to Greece! At the airport, you will be welcomed by your private driver and taken to your hotel. Enjoy the rest of your day at leisure to explore the city of Athens. The capital of Athens is the home of one of the most well-known archeological wonders – the Acropolis. It can be seen from almost anywhere in Athens standing majestically and overlooking the city. The Acropolis Museum is a must see as well! A visit to the historic area of Athens, the Plaka, gives one an idea of what classical Athens looked like. Stroll through the streets lines with renovated classical buildings, restaurants, cafes, shops and boutiques. May we suggest dinner in a Plaka roof –top restaurant tonight with an unforgettable view of the Parthenon. Overnight in Athens.

After breakfast, be picked up from your hotel to begin a city tour of Athens. Enjoy your scheduled morning half day tour of Athens. Drive by the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, Panathenian Stadium, Temple of Olympian Zeus, Thesseum, Monastiraki (Flea Market), Modern Market, Patission Ave, Alexandras Ave, Vas. Sofias Ave, Panepistimiou Ave, Academy, University, National Library and Omonia Square. Included is a visit to the Acropolis and its Museum which houses many of the greatest archaeological finds of the civilization of Ancient Greece, especially from the Athenian sanctuaries and the Parthenon itself. Most of the treasures from the Parthenon are in the Museum including the famous Caryatids Statues. A private walking tour or private car tour of Athens with a guide is also available. Drop off at your hotel. Afternoon, at leisure. Visit another museum such as the Benaki Museum or the National Archeological Museum. Or, take a drive towards Cape Sounion to see the Temple of Posidon sitting majestically on a peninsula surrounded by the sea! Overnight in Athens.

After breakfast, meet your private driver in the hotel lobby for your transfer to the airport.
