Day 1: Depart US for Venice
Overnight flight to Venice.

Day 2: Venice
"Benvenuti in Italia!" Welcome to Venice, a city of myth, magic, indolence and pleasure! Transfer to your hotel by private motor launch. Venice is a world half real and half fantasy with its picturesque carnival, colorful pageants, musical festivals and theaters. Leisure time to explore Venice. Overnight in Venice.

Day 3: Venice
Enjoy a morning walking tour of Venice including the Piazza San Marco, the magnificent Basilica San Marco, the splendid Doge's Palace, and the Bridge of Sighs. Afternoon at leisure. Overnight in Venice.

Day 4: Venice
Full day at leisure. Overnight Venice.

Day 5: Venice / Florence
Morning transfer to the rail station for a train to Florence, the cradle of the Renaissance. Ride through Italy’s most beautiful regions of “Veneto, Emilia Romagna and Tuscany”. Upon arrival transfer to your hotel. Balance of day free. Overnight in Florence.

Day 6: Florence
Your half day tour of Florence includes the beautiful Piazza Del Duomo to see the Cathedral of Santa Maria Dei Fiore, Giotto's Bell Tower and the Romanesque Baptistery of St. John with the exquisite bronze doors by Ghiberti (Michelangelo called them ‘The Gates of Paradise’). Also included is the Academy of Fine Arts which houses Michelangelo's superb ‘David’ and many of the master's unfinished works. Afternoon at leisure. Overnight in Florence.

Day 7: Florence
Free day to explore this magnificent city. Florence is rich with galleries and museums including the famous Uffizi Museum. Stroll through the city enjoying the many shops and cafes. Overnight in Florence.

Day 8: Florence / Rome
Depart for Rome, the “Eternal city”. Transfer to the station for your train to Rome. Enjoy a panoramic view of Tuscany, Umbria & Lazio regions while onboard. Transfer to the hotel. Overnight in Rome.

Day 9: Rome
Your morning tour through Imperial Rome includes Piazza Venezia, Piazza del
Campidoglio designed by Michelangelo with a view of the Roman Forum, Circus Maximus, the Pyramid of Caius Cestius, the Basilica of St. Paul outside the Walls (visit inside) and an outside visit of the Colosseum OR Classic Rome including the Trevi Fountain, Pantheon, Piazza Navona, St Peter’s Basilica, and the Vatican Tour to the Vatican Museums and the Sistine Chapel. Afternoon at leisure in Rome.
Overnight in Rome.

Day 10: Rome
A day to explore this majestic city! There is no better place to grasp the continuity of Italian civilization. You will come to understand why Rome has always considered itself a capital, eternally renewing herself and finding strength in her rich past. Overnight in Rome.

Day 11: Rome / Home
Transfer to the airport for your flight home.

Private transfers performed outside of the hours 8:00 p.m.-6:00a.m. are at an additional charge. In Venice, some hotels do not have a private water door. The transfer covers transportation and luggage handling only up to the point where the motor launch docks. From there onwards, porterage is not included.
