Day 1: Depart US for Athens
Your overnight flight takes you across the Atlantic to Athens, Greece via Italy.
Day 2: Athens
Welcome to Athens! You will be met by our staff and privately transferred to your hotel. Afternoon at leisure. Discover Athens on your own this afternoon by strolling through restored Plaka. Enjoy lunch in a Greek taverna or sit at a cafe watching the world go by!
Day 3: Athens
Enjoy your morning city sightseeing tour. See the highlights of Athens, the Temple of Olympian Zeus, Hadrian’s Arch, the Theatre of Dionysos, the Acropolis and its museum. May we suggest an opional tour to Cape Sounion this afternoon? See the majestic Temple of Posideon against the fiery sunset!
Day 4: Athens
Day at leisure. May we recommend an optional one day Greek Island Cruise! Set sail for the three picturesque Saronic Islands of Aegina, Hydra and Poros. Don’t forget to buy the famous pistachio nuts of Aegina. Buffet lunch is included.

Bid farewell to Athens as you are transferred to the airport for your flight to Rome. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to your hotel. Day at leisure to explore this fabulous city!
Day 6: Rome
Enjoy your two half day tours of Rome. Select a morning tour, Classic Rome, including the Trevi Fountain, the Pantheon, Piazza Navona and St. Peter’s Basilica OR a afternoon tour, Imperial Rome, to Piazza Venezia, Circus Maziums, the Basilica of St. Paul’s and St. Peter’s in Chains (Michelangelo’s Moses). Balance of the day is at leisure. Stroll down Via Condotti and enjoy a cappuccino by the Spanish steps.
Day 7: Rome
Enjoy a morning tour of the Vatican Museum and the Sistene Chapel. Raise your eyes to see Michelangelo’s masterpieces, the “Creation” and the “Last Judgment”. Afternoon at leisure to wander on your own through this majestic city. In the streets or on the piazzas, in the gardens and churches, or in front of the palaces, the visitor will understand why Rome has always considered itself a capital, eternally renewing herself and finding strength in her rich past.
